Patrick Cornée was born in Toulouse in 1962. He joins the " école des Beaux Arts" in Toulon in 1995 and the Workshop of Bruno Vigoroso in 1997. His talent is then awarded in 1999 at the international competition of the third millenium in London. This contemporary painter set up his workshop on the Mediterranean shores which recur in all of his works.

"His discovery of artistic creation and its countless potentialities goes back to his early chilhood.

He very soon had the revelation of the magic of a line, a shape or a colour, and grasped all the possibilities offered to him by way of drawing - recreating the world according in his image.

If a sentence were to summarize the whole of his present works, it would undoubtedly be that of Umberto Eco in Foucaultis Pendulum: "it would suffice to bend the surface of a mirror to fall over into the imaginary".

The wiewer remains bewildered in front of his paintings which have something at the same time delirious, illusionary, contortionist, playful and strange, whose message he grasps little by little.
